Here is the Las Vegas Taxi Fare Finder.

I found this on the Fivehundy facebook group.

It seems to be a pretty good thing to keep book marked!

Or add to the list of helpful Vegas websites. I can't find that thread.

I've always preferred this fare finder site over the Las Vegas Taxicab Authorities "Fares and Fees" page (http://taxi.state.nv.us/FaresFees.htm)

So many people would just look at the taxicab authority website and might say something like "It cost me $21 to go from the airport to Venetian... the LVTA website says its only $17.73... I was robbed! I was long hauled!" whereas if you use the taxi fare finder it gives you a more realistic answer: with no traffic from the airport to Venetian could cost as low as $17.63, with heavy traffic it could cost as much as $27.04. Or the LVTA website says its $13-15 to Monte Carlo: we've stayed at Monte Carlo 5 trips in a row and the fare is always up around $19-20 which is more in line with what the taxi fare finder says.

That fare finder is a wee bit outdated as one of the points of interest you can use is the Stardust. In addition, the Plaza hasn't been called the Union Plaza in a number of years.

I used the link in the first post to estimate the fare to the Carriage House which is at 105 E Harmon. Not only did it take the strip for part of the journey, it even went along Flamingo which is miles past the destination.

Then I tried to estimate CH to Bally's and the route it showed looked like it went along Audrie which is a dead end when you reach the side of Bally's.

Not impressed.
