Received an e-mail from them with rates starting at $60/night (code PPNRF). Not a bad rate, I'm sure you're overlooking the parking deck, but that seems like a low price for the standard (Luxury) room. Considering it for our September trip for a couple of nights, since we've never stayed at a Harrah's property and rates for Wed/Thur are $65/night and no resort fees.

The $20 dollar trick has netted me an upgrade from the Luxury room to the Paris Red Room two stays there in a row. Asking nicely upon check in may work as well.

Looks like the same size room (390 Sq Ft). Amenities seem the same, can't tell about the view. The Red Rooms seem to be on a higher floor. Unfortunately, they are not part of this deal, but maybe the $20 trick will work.

Well, logged into my Total Rewards page to check on the aforementioned deal. Got the room for $40 + tax per night for a Wednesday/Thursday. Had to sign up for that. Mrs Russgrad is excited, as her Birthday trip is starting to take shape.

the biggest difference really is the bed. The mattress in the red rooms is terrific. Last time I was in a standard room, the bed was horrible.

We stayed at Paris in May. Loved it. The bed in the standard room was fine and I managed to get a strip view room by asking nicely although it wasn't very high.
