I see the governor has signed a bill to approve in room gaming...so tell me...would you want to stay in your room and gamble??? I have thought about it, and I would much prefer the atmosphere of the casino..by the time I go to my room, and I want to relax.....thoughts???? :yo:

You must be pretty addicted to gambling, in order to play in your room. Unless you are afraid of being seen on the casino floor.
I could see the thought of putting a few slots in a Large Suite. That seems very Vegas to me.

This new law may actually be for those little portable devices I read about a long time ago. Or allow computer (or TV based) online gambling in your room with that property.

Well technically one could already do in-room gaming if they have the Leroy's app on their smartphone.....

Just remember the number of people you've heard whine how far it is to their rooms..... :bluecry:

Well, I just wonder just how many people would take advantage of it...would it be profitable??? The joy for me in Las Vegas is the vibe of the casino...playing alone in my room just wouldn't feel the same...
I think if it comes to fruition I will pass...and it sounds to me like a number of you feel the same...
And also, what kind of hassle would there be to collect your winnings???

It appears to be for the handhelds, I would consider it depending on the type of room I have :) .

I really don't think the point of these are so that somebody can come to Las Vegas, check in, and then go up to the room for the next 3 or 4 days and gamble on a handheld device...

I think its more for people who are up in their room, for whatever reason, and want to still do a little more gambling.

Personally, if I found myself looking forward to gambling in my hotel room, I'd consider that a sign that I needed to go for help with a problem.

Yeah, that seems a little off to me. Now it might be different if they were offering portable poker/card tables and had dealers included. That would be a great service for private parties.
