Yesterday was arrival day in Vegas. First class from Cleveland on United. Airbus did not have a dividing curtain between coach and firsy class. But they do put air traffic control on the headphone system.

Paid for penthouse suite at Mirage. Includes limo service. Randy really great as a driver. Check on room (ready) and had bellman standing by. This also has private check in in the VIP room.

We requested a pool view - and is is really nice. The flowers I ordered for Sharon were in the room when we got there.

One of the reasons we love the Mirage is the friendliness of all the employees. From top brass to cleaning people. They always have a cheery good morning.

When I unpacked my cpap, found the tank for it broken. Looked up a place on the internet and got the rental car and odd to buy a new one. Drove back up the strip and saw a bus that was a "hangover cure".

Valet parked at Forum Shoppes to go to cheesecake factory for lunch Sharon bought "Orogold" makeup along the way. Then off to the annual stop at Target. Then back to Mirage for a rest.

Played Video Poker for a while. Cashed a couple of tickets and I cashed $50 on a Wheel Of Fortune penny machine.

Had a late snack at California Pizza Kitchen, then back to the room. It was a long day.

I've always liked the Mirage too. Even though it was the first mega-casino, it has aged very well. I like eating at Stack in the bar, for obvious reasons......

I don't like that they un-Miraged it, but I've always liked that place too. It's where we stayed for my bachelor party. ;)

We don't like the de-theming (un-theming) of Vegas either. Off to see Phantom now.

The removed a lot of the theming inside, the tree and such.

At least the fish tank is still there. (I think...)
