Hi everyone.
Apparently, Absinthe is starting a new ticket/seating policy:

"Performances Through April 22
$79 plus tax - GENERAL ADMISSION
$109 plus tax - VIP (includes complimentary drink)

Performances April 24 Onward
$89 plus tax - RESERVED SEATING; including stylized seating clusters around the perimeter of the tent
$119 plus tax - VIP RESERVED SEATING; 2nd and 3rd rowseating with complimentary split of Moet champagne
$169 plus tax - VVIP ; 1st rowcushioned seat with complimentary split of Moet champagne "

As I read it, there are going to 5 ticket/seating categories:
1st row
2nd & 3rd row
First shot at the general admission seating
Reserved seating around the perimeter of the tent
General admission

Or am I misreading the policy?

Oh, and what is the perimeter seating like? How many seats are there in the "stylized seating clusters" I've seen the show twice but don't remember. I was watching under the influence....

Thanks

It sounds as though they're doing away with general admission altogether and doing reserved seating like everyone else does.

Right you are. I went to Ticketmaster and there it was, laid out play as day. I should have done that first, don't know why I didn't.

Oh damn blast and drat! We are intending seeing the show 1st May and the price goes up the week before!

Think I will try and get our tickets the first day there seeing as it's now assigned seating rather than GA if I have understood that correctly.

Luci, I've seen Absinthe listed on the Tix4Tonight website as available (they don't show pricing on the website, however). You might check with them and see what you can get it for there.

Thanks for that. I know they were handing out $20 off coupons outside the venue and I was going to try and get one of those. Good to know that T4T may have them too. I won't be paying full price that's for sure when I know there are discount out there.
