Actually in thinking about it now, she was Scottish, she thought I implied she was Irish (which I didn't) which ticked her off. I think she just wanted to fight.

:icon_lol: :icon_lol: As a Scot myself with a GGdad who came here from Scotland I can tell ya the only thing that will get a Scot to fight faster than saying Irish Whisky is better tha Scotch is to call them an Irish person. Scots love to fight almost as much as we love to drink good whiskey and eat bad food. Ya got lucky

Whisky, without the e is Scottish. Whiskey with the e is Irish.

Most Scots wouldn't object to being called Irish as we are all Celts. However try calling a Scottish person English and see what reaction you get!

Damn I did get the Es reversed didnt I :banghead: . I don't know wbout the calling a Scot and Irish even in our clan get togethers for the Scottish Clans of Oklahoma that point is not favored, I know for sure my GGdad loathed the Irish, he was a very old school man and very racist and could tolerate anyone better than the Irish, course he had no problem marrying a Cherokee woman.

So I called the box office and they said the ABS20 code still works for $20 off.

I also asked about the replacement skaters. Unfortunately, they won't be on until next week, so I will miss them until my next trip. Also unfortunately, they are brother and sister, so the skit won't have the same hotness that the original did.

The Scots/Irish relationship is a bit of a weird one. Where you find hostility, you will find a religious angle eg at Old Firm football games.
