This project has been brewing for about a year or two now. One thing to wonder is why don't they use that $$$ on fixing up the exteriors of Bally's, Flamingo, Rio, as well as the Paris balloon?

Alora, CET is bleeding money and they are willing to sell off just about anything as long as they get to keep the money coming in from their places, hence the reason why Gordon Ramsey is going to have 3 restaurants by next year!

The name Horseshoe doesn't convey the modern European design mentioned at Vegas Tripping. Can't imagine it will be named Drai's either though. What if they have a falling out with Drai. I like Douchebagatorium. I stole that name from someplace.

I doubt it. While they do position the Horseshoe as a higher end property, the plans for Bill's don't mesh with the Horseshoe brand. Caesars will eventually open a Horseshoe in Las Vegas with Bally's long thought to be the property to get that treatment.

Here's an idea: Flamingo Capri. It's the original name for what is now The Quad and could be a name that evokes Europe. It was thought at the time that Harrah's acquired the property that they might make it a boutique hotel connected with the Flamingo.

Okay. I don't check in on VT often though I have a lot of respect for the crew there. I wasn't aware of the target audience and design intent. Thought they'd just revitalize the 1890s San Francisco theme.

I posted a link to the VT article several posts earlier. It has some interior drawings as well.

I wonder if they will build a physical connection to the Flamingo. Some sort of enclosed walkway.
