I still think a new water park would have made more sense. It would be used over and over by locals, and be a good alternative to tourist families with children who would get bored by a standard hotel pool.

When Wet-N-Wild closed down, it was originally supposed to be temporary, as they were planning on opening back up with a new location in Henderson, but that never happened.

Now if MGM Resorts needs an idea with what to do with that land they have on the North Strip by Circus Circus, how about a water park?

Hell, from that far south on LVB, passengers will also get some great views of all the foreclosed homes in Henderson

No very long, but the winds took care of closing it down before they could go bankrupt.

You would think they'd be smart enough to wait to begin a duplicate until after they witness the failure of the first _______ <<<insert project here.

I would be surprised if CET/HET (whatever) put money into anything new other than another casino take over, a la Planet HO. They do not put any money into their current properties like the unfinished tower at Caesars.

Our cabbie drove us right past there and we got a good look at it. It's a big area, that's for sure.
