So if I get two of the pizza deals at Aria can G use one of them?

Okay Pebs. I lost sight of the fact the lengths of your vacations allow you the use of more than three per person.

I don't think you can get two of any deal apart from the room ones. It usually says something like "limited to one per MyVegas player...."

The game has been really tight lately for me, especially the bonus spin. I've been hitting 200 gold on it for four out of six spins lately, a little too often to be a coincidence as far as I'm concerned. I know, that's what I'm rally after in the long run but still... It's hard to progress if I don't get red chips. It used to be I could get around 250,000 chips throughout the week and play on Saturday and gain 3-5 levels, but recently it takes two weeks to get that many chips and the game play is different. I'll gain ground and/or hover at the same chip count until I get about one level's amount of points, then a switch gets flipped and my chips drain away FAST.

Weird.

Do you mean the gathering of chips you do a couple of times a day, the wheel spin you get once a day or the bonus round you get from each game? I only get gold loyalty chips on the first, usually on the megas at the top of the screen (MGM, Aria, etc). Everything else is pure red. I only play the original Excalibur game. I've never seen gold on any of the eight bonus spins.

Perhaps it's just coincidence or a change in the game due to level attained, but as the wheel spun last night, I did notice low denomination gold loyalty chips appearing. Strange. But again, I have never landed on those in all the time I've been playing.

A bit of both really. The bonus wheel has been pretty consistent at giving me 200 gold chips four to five times a week - statistically improbable - and even the bigger properties on the map tend to give gold instead of red chips. In the long run I guess it's fine since by the time I get back to Vegas I'm going to have all sorts of freebies to use, but that makes playing the game shorter and progression shorter.

My March trip might be put off until 2015. I just found out that I'll be doing an Alaskan fishing trip next summer and can't afford both trips. :(

I thought the point of the game was to gain gold LPs so surely it is better to get them on the Daily Bonus spin or collecting from hotels that getting red chips? With some of the games it takes almost 6K red chips just to get 10 LPs. I would far rather land on gold LPs than red chips.

Luci, for some of us I think it's more the thrill of the hunt than the end result. I've already made my three choices for the next trip coming up soon, and have since accrued nearly 200K in loyalty (gold) points for use next Spring. Most likely I won't have use for nearly that many. As that will be a solo trip staying in a 'locals' casino I won't do fancy dining or a room comp. So sometimes I ask myself why I'm still playing. :-)

Since I know it's going to be a while until I'll get to use these points, I'm just trying to catch up With Pebs.

Like THAT will happen... ;)

Not sure if this should be a separate post or if there is a topic already.

Is anyone taking part in the Caesars Social Rewards programme?

I have just been using my FB account to collect points, but I have just opened a Twitter account. Not sure how long I need to have it open or how many followers I need to have before I can start collecting points using Twitter.

If anyone has a Twitter account I'd be very grateful if you could follow me @luci15vegas

So after starting this thread things are getting better. I haven't had time to play for a couple weeks and in the process amassed about 425,000 chips. I started playing Excalibur today and I was quickly up two levels and brought my chip count up to it's highest level yet, nearly 800,000.

Of course I'm back down to 500,000, but I have to wait until tomorrow to keep playing. I have to spend the afternoon at a winery...

Heh, we will.

Another bummer is that my October trip has been canceled. I had to choose between Vegas and going fishing in Alaska with my father-in-law.

I chose the 80-100 pounds of salmon. ;)

Just a quick comment. I hit one million chips in the bank for a brief time last week. It was amazing.
